Welcome, traveler
This is a small private Ultima Online shard running ModernUO, open to friends of the house. Britannia is fully populated — towns, vendors, dungeons, wildlife, and 5,600+ spawners across every facet. Character creation is open: just connect and make an account.

How to join
Windows users — the easy way (one download):
- Download BritanniaNPI-setup.7z (1.4 GB — contains the client, game files, and shard config, all pre-set)
- Unzip it anywhere (needs 7-Zip or Windows 11's built-in archive support).
- Open the folder and double-click
PLAY_BRITANNIA.bat. - On the login screen, type any username and password you like — your account is created on first login. Remember them.
- Make a character, pick a starting city, and you're in. See you in Britain.
Not on Windows, or prefer manual setup? Install the ClassicUO launcher from
classicuo.eu, get the classic UO client files
(e.g. with uo-patcher, which downloads them from EA's own public patch servers),
and create a profile with server lapingu.org, port 2593, client version 7.0.117.0.

Good to know
Windows won't move when I drag them?
By default ClassicUO requires holding Alt while left-dragging a window's
title bar. If Alt behaves oddly on your system, open Options (Ctrl+O or the paperdoll)
→ General → Gumps & Context → untick Hold ALT key to move gumps,
then plain drag works. Right-click a window to close it.
Wrong client version error?
Set the profile's client version to exactly 7.0.117.0. The server
enforces this minimum and kicks older clients on login.
Can I change my password?
In-game, type [password oldpassword newpassword in the chat bar.
Or ask the owner; he has the GM robe.
What's in the world?
All five facets: Felucca, Trammel, Ilshenar, Malas, Tokuno. Every town has vendors and guards; dungeons (Deceit, Hythloth, Shame, Destard, Covetous, Ice, Fire and more) carry their classic spawn from mongbats to dragons. Wildlife is everywhere — horses, bears, wolves, and the odd tameable companion.
